Everyone ( and I mean everyone ) was thoroughly impressed with all the food! The pork was the best we have ever had! The shrimp as well as the crabcakes were a hit and those yummy twice-baked potatoes too! As you suggested, the fruit kabobs were a great idea for the younger ones. Now the whole family says it should be a tradition for us. We will be in the same house next year from the 18th til the 25th ( over Father's Day again ) and we'll see what happens! Thank you again! The menu consisted of several platters: Cubanito's, assorted wraps, specialty sandwiches, barbecued pulled pork sliders, devilled eggs, potato salad and those monster homemade chocolate chip cookies. We just had our wedding dinner catered by Melinda at our Harrington House bungalow, and they did a fantastic job all around. When we returned to the bungalow after the wedding, Melinda had decorated our table on the patio, and my wife, friends & I all ate a wonderful meal under the moonlight & candlelight. Everything was fantastic, from the appetizer (best spinach & artichoke dip EVER), to the pork tenderloin which was so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut it. Melinda even went by the Harrington House earlier in the week to prepare our evening in advance. When we arrived, she had the window open so that we could hear the smooth jazz channel on the TV as we dined on the patio. What a nice touch! :-) I would highly recommend her catering services to anyone who would prefer a private evening with friends, rather than a night out at a crowded restaurant. They even provided a server, and cleaned up after us when we were finished! A perfect ending to a wonderful day. |

| Hello! We are the couple that ordered two Cubans to go on Feb. 21. We were flying home to MA through Chicago. We dove into the Cubans during our 3 hour lay over in O’Hare and they were mighty tasty. We can only imagine how good they are right out of the press. | Hi Melinda, Just wanted to thank you again for your part in making our daughter’s wedding perfect in every way. The food was exceptional: we got a lot of comments about the stuffed tilapia. The service was excellent, even though we didn’t give you much working room. And your handling all the scheduling and arrangements for occasion was flawless. So, one down and one to go. | We had a fabulous Christmas dinner thanks to the wonderuful efforts of Melinda's Cafe. As a visitor from Europe, to the island I wanted to provide a wonderful meal for my extended family without all of the fuss.. I ordered a turkey from Melinda which turned out first rate..moist and juicy with a delicious flavour. Her artichoke and spinach dip accompanied by homemade chips was outstanding .. and the shrimp platter was beautifully presented and loved by all.
The service I received from my initial enquiry to the returning of the pans has been totally professional. Melinda's attitude was friendly and helpful, offering a flexible service tailored to meet my requirements. Melinda's catering took a huge burden off me on Christmas day which meant I was able to relax and enjoy the day more so than I had in many previous years. First rate!
